We collect information you provide, information created while you learn, and limited technical information needed to operate and improve Kalbukas.

• Account details, such as your name, email address, profile image, authentication provider, and securely hashed password when you use email sign-in
• Learning preferences, including your support language, grammatical gender, first name, country, playback preferences, and microphone preferences
• Conversation transcripts, messages, corrections, vocabulary, mission and lesson progress, streaks, and usage totals
• Subscription status and transaction references; payment card details are handled by the payment provider and are not stored by Kalbukas
• Device, browser, IP address, session, diagnostic, and website analytics information
• Emails, feedback, screenshots, and other information you choose to send to support

When you use speaking practice, your recording is sent securely for transcription and response generation. Kalbukas does not save the original voice recording after it has been processed, but we do save the resulting transcript and conversation so you can continue learning and review your progress.

Conversation text and recordings are processed using specialist AI and speech services. AI-generated transcriptions, corrections, translations, and replies can be inaccurate, so please treat them as learning assistance rather than authoritative advice.

We use information only where reasonably needed to provide, secure, support, and improve Kalbukas, meet our legal obligations, and communicate with you.

• Create and secure your account and keep you signed in
• Provide voice transcription, AI conversation, translations, audio, and personalized learning features
• Save your learning history, preferences, progress, and subscription access
• Send verification, password reset, service, and support emails
• Measure reliability and usage, prevent misuse, troubleshoot problems, and improve the service
• Process subscriptions and comply with accounting, tax, fraud-prevention, and legal requirements

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with trusted service providers that process it on our behalf only as needed to operate Kalbukas, with your direction, or when disclosure is legally required. We require providers to protect the information they process and limit its use to the services they perform for us.

Our website uses analytics tools in production to understand visits and feature usage. Kalbukas also uses cookies or similar local storage for authentication, language, and app preferences. You can limit cookies through your browser or device settings, although essential features may stop working.

We keep account and learning information while your account is active and for as long as reasonably needed to provide the service. Some billing, security, and transaction records may be retained longer where required for legal, tax, dispute, or fraud-prevention purposes. We delete or anonymize information when it is no longer needed.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, restrict, object to, or delete personal information. You can permanently delete your account and learning data from Profile in the app. For another privacy request, email us. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

You may withdraw optional permissions, such as microphone access, in your device settings. You may also unsubscribe from optional marketing emails using the link in the email.

We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards designed to protect personal information. No online service can guarantee absolute security. Our providers may process information in countries other than your own, subject to the safeguards required by applicable law.

Kalbukas is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information without appropriate permission, contact us so we can investigate and remove it where required.

We may update this policy as Kalbukas changes. We will post the updated version here and change the effective date. If a change materially affects your rights, we will provide additional notice where required.
